Too Dark To Read

Years ago I had a blog that I started for my dog Skip and friends. It was my first attempt at blogging, and I didn’t know most of the bloggers that I now know. At that time we shared our home with Zeb (above), and Zoe (below). Many of our friends and family would write in and send photos of their animals for our Friends Page. Here are a few of my favorites:

Now that Skip has passed.

“Too Dark to Read”

and Joulie has come to stay, I wanted to find a way to honor her presence and that of all of our animal companions. I had tried to do a positive lifestyle blog prior to this named Carrot, but honestly, I would be lying to you if I said I was in that positive of a spin lately. It was arduous to continue. This feels more fun, like the original on which it was modeled. Which by the way is here Skippy: Tale of a Caniche. 

That said, WELCOME JOULIE! and a new era of stupid texts… please email me or IM me or FB me photos of your favorite animal friends and we will start a new page together.
